

SCHEDULE YOUR EVENT AT POPES MUSEUM FARM
Showers, Graduations, Quinceneras, Bar and Bat mitzvahs, Birthday parties, Retreats, a team building event, or a healing getaway Popes Museum Farm is a perfect distance for you to accomplish what you need. With group spaces and private spaces, overnight accomodations for 10 guests (additional charge), and an environment that inspires creativity and unity, it is South Georgia's newest getaway!
$125 per hour - 4 hour minimum
Pope’s Museum and Farm works hard to maintain the integrity of this historic museum, home and property. Please help us continue to have the Georgia Historic Preservation Office’s endorsement by abiding by the following.

Events over 80 people must use day of event coordinator. Additionally ratio of adults to children must be 1 adult for every 10 children or lower. This ratio does not include PM staff.

Contracted hours are firmly maintained. Please do not ask to get access to the grounds earlier. Pope’s Museum Farm team members will be busy making sure the site is ready for your event.

All photography and social media promotions of your event should list/tag Pope’s Museum and/or Pope’s Museum Farm. Additionally, Pope’s Museum Farm have full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.

Decorations should be self standing. Please no taping or hanging items on the walls unless prearranged with the venue.

Trash removal provided, but tear down and clean up must be done by the end of event rental. Cans will be provided by the venue.

While we are not currently operating the petting zoo, we do have animals onsite. Going into pens/corrals and more is taboo. Staff must be on site and with guests the entire time.

Smoking in designated areas only.

LED candles only. No flames at all either outdoors or indoors.

Alcohol (if applicable): The party who is renting Pope’s Museum Farm for their event is completely responsible for bringing and serving it. Additionally that same has a designated person for serving for the entire event. This person will be responsible to the day of event coordinator if there is one. Pope’s Museum is not purchasing or serving. Absolutely NO SERVING OF MINORS UNDER 21.

You are welcome to bring food, drinks, ice and more. There is a fridge/freezer available.

Security Deposit and Rain policy: Security deposit is 50% of fees. That is also the retainer for the date. Nonrefundable if you cancel the event 60 days before event. Balance due before event begins. GA weather is unpredictable. While we will do our best to accommodate your event if rain occurs, we are not able to offer a guaranteed rain date.

Museum tours are available at an additional fee. Unless pre agreed upon our staff will not be prepared to give tours of the museum or the museum gardens and grounds.
Georgia agritourism law

Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but shall not be limited to, the potential of you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death and the potential of another participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this registered agritourism activity.”
While our staff will be present, it is up to the renting party and parents to insure that all attendees comply with all directions written and spoken. This includes staying within the designated areas, obeying the direction of staff and signs. Animals are not consistent in their behavior and there is always risk. Your guests must understand that risk. If an animal demonstrates unsafe or uncooperative behavior he will be removed from group whenever possible.
